Hi. I am Mike Gorse, and this is the latest incarnation of my personal web page / a portal to my creations. I work for Suse on the SUSE Linux Desktop Team and am also involved with GNOME accessibility. I live in Austin, TX (and doubt that there's any other city where I'd rather live).
A friend and I are working to start a housing cooperative on the east side of Austin.
In Case youwere Wondering and In Case you were Wondering, (II) -- are articles that I wrote/helped write in college for TechNews (WPI's newspaper) to try to answer questions that people may have / that I am commonly asked. The former (which Kelly Boyle from the West Street House put together with help from me) discusses ways to help a blind person who is traveling, while the latter discusses academics and how I use computers.
landmark (a rather primitive gps app using TIGER data. I don't even use it anymore--it's a whole lot easier to use WalkyTalky on my Droid2--but I guess I'll keep the link up for completeness.
